I layer earth materials to mimic the planet's surface, with each piece representing a microcosm of the land we stand on. The final touch is a dusting of natural golden mica, which creates a shimmering façade that speaks to the allure of fast fashion. My process is slow and deliberate, in stark contrast to the rapid cycles of fast fashion. I carefully select and mix earth pigments, honoring the very ground that the fashion industry often overlooks. The mica, applied by hand, symbolizes not just glamour, but also the thin line between perceived value and environmental cost.

The glittering surface represents the 60% increase in clothing purchases since 2000, while the textured earth beneath serves as a reminder of the resources consumed: oil, water, and land. Through these artworks, I aim to challenge the industry's claims and the artificial glitter surrounding microtrends, encouraging a reflection on sustainable practices and the impact of our consumption choices.

Unconventional art materials align with the philosophical concept of the artworks, emphasizing well-being, respect, and kindness.

Water-based plastic-free paints are plant-based and cruelty-free. Uniquely formulated without use of fossil fuels and non-toxic.

Organic pigment is a natural Gold Mica mineral that is sourced from family-owned quarry in Europe. Art materials are approved in Europe and USA, non-allergic and free from hazardous fumes (VOC).

The estimated delivery times from the time the parcel is shipped from Helsinki:

EU zone within 1–3 working days and elsewhere in the world within 2–8 working days. Only formalities in the customs of the destination country may affect the delivery times.

RETURN: The art can be returned within 7 days of receiving the package. Unfortunately, buyer is responsible for covering the postage and any other expenses related to the return, including secure packaging. If a package is not picked up, the costs of return will be deducted from the purchase price before reimbursement.

Artworks are crafted with biodegradable materials, with degradation rates varying based on environmental conditions. It is recommended to place them in environments with low humidity and temperatures between 14ºC and 40ºC.

These artworks are of archival quality and durability, comparable to those of the old masters.

Dust paintings regularly using a dry, soft and fine brush. Don’t use cleaning products or water.
